Jess' grandad was the principal of my primary school, she wasn't even born till I'd left the place. We met in Psychology class in 2004, became aquainted over her surname and have been friends ever since.

Day 113, 114, 115

Day 115 - Wednesday - Seb is on the phone to his girl Phoebe, he calls her every fornight to ensure maximum catchment of exciting news and current events. She plays games with him while they talk, makes for interesting watching.

Day 113 - Monday - Wandering round the house looking for lost slipper. Foot is cold dammit. Took F'kin ages to find it too I might add. Who said I only lost keys?

Day 104, 105, 106

Day 106 - Monday - no pic, but in the theme of birthdays, who wouldn't want an awesome sponge bob cake like this one?

Day 105 - Sunday - Dinner at the Telfers, this time for birthday celebrations for little Emma and Sebastian. Emma was 9 on the 20th of May, and Seb's birthday was 2 days after these pictures. Jo was in Auckland visiting their Dad so it was great to have her there for Sunday dinner.

Day 104 - Saturday - after driving down from Auckland the night before, we spent the weekend with the Wards in Rotorua. Rebecca talked to me about her and Brendan trying for another baby, funnily enough she is pregnant in these pictures but didn't know.

Day 101, 102, 103

Day 102 - Friday - this is my friend Gabriel, hes hiding behind a chair. I'm visiting his mum Amy, Gabe thought it would be cooler to launch himself off pieces of furniture into my willing arms, such is the joy of small boys.

Day 102 - Thursday - Woke to a frost, a fair sign winter is here.

Day 101 - Wednesday - boy is sick and off school with me. Has to go to uni and is unimpressed. I don't know why, he looks cool and people call him cute all the time. Plus he got orange tictacs and a chance to experience Maori politics tutorial, what more could you ask for?

Day 99, 100

Day 100 - Tuesday - near a third of the journey, I could have done something more interesting than take pictures on the bus on the way to school. But it was a nice day. Views from upper Symonds St, and over the bridge towards Grafton and the harbour. I was also secretly worried about catching a bus with a bunch of strangers who might be harbouring the swine flu. How paranoid.

Day 99 - Monday - June the 1st, first day of winter. Milo, in his deprogramming from feral to domestic is becoming a rather demanding guy. This near regular sight at the front door most mornings, the 'let me in' face for a feed.

Day 96, 97, 98

Day 98 - Sunday - It was my nanas 75th birthay, we went to hers for high tea, Mum made a bunch of stuff that tasted good but makes you fat. I think nana looks pretty good for her age.

Day 97 - Saturday - Seb was off helping his boss film something, this card reminds me of him, and his awesome car, and his thing about star trek.

Day 96 - Friday - resuming blog after 60 days makes it difficult to recount a single thing. However in the absence of an image, of which I am tardily forgetting more and more to do, I have provided Kathie Olivas' the dilletante because I would like to buy it.

Emma - Day 93, 94, 95

Day 95 - Thursday - Mum and Nana came over to have presents and food for Coles second party, and of course Coles best mate Peter James Shortland. This years requested menu was trifle, ham sandwiches, cheerio sausies, sausage rolls, and lollies. good time had by all :)

Day 94 - Wednesday - Cole turned 8, but because I had class until 6, we just had a precursor cake and had his afternoon tea the next day.

Day 93 - Tuesday - not recorded, but we did go and see Star Trek, which was very funny and I would watch it again.

Emma - Day 92

Day 92 - Monday - HIKOI. an important day for Maori, to remember the 30th anniversary of the occupation at Bastion Point, and to make it clear to this government that they are in breach of the Treaty of Waitangi with their wholesale scrapping of the 3 designated Maori seats reccommended by the Royal Commision. 3 Maori seats in the new Auckland Supercity that our government sees fit once again to classify Maori as unimportant in the decisionmaking process. Rights, Resources, Representation, this is what the Treaty signifies, and it should be duly given to Maori as Treaty partners as Pakeha see fit to give to themselves.

Emma - Day 90, 91

Day 91 - Sunday - Being a cat, Mimi is also very annoying, and jumps on the headboard of the bed when she wants something. Thats usually a code red signal, when scratching the couch, the carpet and running in and out of the room isn't working.
Day 90 - Saturday - Its true to say the cats occupy alot of my headspace. I was outside hanging the washing on the metal frame when Mimi came along. She seems to see this as a kill signal, as in kill the freshly cleaned clothes flapping in the breeze. I had to rehang the clothes no less than about 10 times from her pulling them off. Then the brothers tried to join in as well...

Emma - Day 86, 87, 88, 89

Day 86-89 :(

the whole not having batteries and being stressed like a mofo has made me an abject failure for the second period of time. enjoy this beautiful post secret instead.

Emma - Day 85

Day 85 - Monday - Seb in his mancoat at the window pulling a stupid face. He likes pulling faces.

Emma - Day 84

Day 84 - Sunday - It was bloody cold, a nice little reminder that Antarctica is not too far away, so I had this scarf round my head initally because I was outside and didn't want my hair to get wet (I know how stupid, but water + my hair = POOF), and yeah. Arab styles much?

Emma - Day 82, 83

Day 83 - Saturday - I had gotten this little jacket from an asian shop in Newmarket, I feel like Tweety Campbell from Madmen when I wear it on account of its late 50's styling.

Day 82 - Friday - my little cousin Willie La'ulu came to NZ for his first visit since his parents (my dads sister) emmigrated to Australia. Seb and I took him for the Wendy's experience, which he enjoyed immensely. We enjoyed his company and hope he comes to stay with us next time he's in Auckland.

Emma - Day 77, 78, 79, 80, 81

Days 77 - 81.

The camera had no batteries :( epic fail.

Emma - Day 75, 76

Day 76 - Saturday - Shortly after this terrible picture was taken my camera ran out of juice. Dan wearing a bra on his back. You need to see the film to find out why.

Day 75 - Friday - 48 hours furious filmmaking. I treat the team, team Marvin and the Gayes, whose members are Seb, Daniel, Myself, Estevez and this year Paul, to a warm up dinner of enchilladas. We are also in the salubrious company of young Mat who had to work and couldn't join us in our mayhem.
