Emma - Day 12, 13, 14

Day 14 - Sunday - An evening meal with my mother and my family, is always always a treat.

Day13 - Saturday - Auckland cityscape while we party with friends on building rooftops

Day 12 - Friday - lying in bed watching telly seems simplistic and yet we never talk much about it or think to take pictures of it happening. Until now.

Note

I haven't stopped. I just haven't posted. oops. bad me.

Emma - Day 11

Thursday - I enjoyed the format so Im doing it again, it lets me muck round alot more. I went outside and realised my favourite converse has snapped its laces, and theres a storm brewing, like 'weather warning' styles and the only way I could capture that was my hair blowing in my eye. Its very very windy actually.

Emma - Day 10

Day 10 -Wednesday - It was too hard to pick, so I cheated. abit. The boys had athletics, and though you wouldn't know it they'd both just got told off for slacking. We had lazy BK for dinner, Athletics night always finishes at 7.30, hardly condusive for going home to start cooking a meal. So anyway, this BK on a Wednesday.

Emma - Day Nine

Day Nine - Tuesday - Im trying to convince my friend Nick, that he should blog his year after he had a particularly crap morning, in absence of a daily entry, I put in his first and possibly last picture along with me talking up the experience lol.

Emma - Day Six, Seven, Eight

Day 8 - Monday - Stupid expensive replacement key, $400 later I will never lose one again. Touch wood.

Day 7 - Sunday - Cole again. We went to Justines birthday bbq, and Cole had a swim. He doesn't stand up to well to the cold water, and spends a good 20 minutes in recovery mode.

Day Six - Saturday - My friend Nicky got engaged, and her mum made cupcakes and I iced them for their engagement party. Chocolate butter cream tastes very very good :)

Emma - Day Five

Friday - Fairly raw. In a crappy tshirt, with this incredibly hippy, and yet bloody comfortable hairband eating cheese on toast with the tomato and sultana chutney on it my nana just made for me. Im lucky to have a nana that makes me stuff.

Emma - Day One, Two, Three, Four

Day Four - Thursday - Wheels Day. The boys were allowed to ride their skateboards to school this morning, and I have kitted them out in non-breakage padding. Cole was very excited, Im just glad the skateboards are getting used.

Day Three - Wednesday - Out with the old, in with the old. In completing the kitchen, I have decided to return to the iconic crockery of crown lynn colourglaze, and have spent the last few days mining second hand shops. After my Nanny passed away I inherited some of her olde worlde goodness, and lets face it, they don't make stuff like they used to. In rediscovering found objects and renewing their use, I hope Im not contributing to the production of extra crap in the world.

Day Two - Tuesday - I got up early enough to see the sun rising over the neighbourhood, and as this is a novelty I thought I would capture it happening. I went for a walk in the park afterwards, my valient attempt at excersize.

Day One - Monday - Things in my room. While in Australia I found a brand of shoes I loved and managed to get some on trademe as there were none in my size in Sydney, I put them together with Emily throwing the goat, subliminal references to my time in Australia, and my family. Objects of affection.

Kia Ora

Off the back of an idea my mum showed me in a magazine, I have set forth to try (valiantly) to document 365 days of my life. There might be holes when I forget, or when the batteries run out in the camera but I promise I will not cheat.

Im sure the next 365 days will be challenging both in terms of what to photograph and be interesting as well as the events which are yet to unfold. I hope though at the end of it to have some sort of comprehensive document.

And who knows, it might even carry on longer than a year.....
